Office (2013 series)

Office is a Tamil soap opera that aired on Vijay TV from 11 March 2013 5 June 2015 on Monday through Friday evening. The show stars Shruthi Raj, Karthik, Vishnu, Sitharth, Udhayabhanu Maheswaran and Madhumila. It was directed by Ram Vinayak and produced by K J Ganesh.

Microsoft Office 2013

Microsoft Office 2013 (codenamed Office 15) is a version of Microsoft Office, a productivity suite for Microsoft Windows. It is the successor to Microsoft Office 2010 and the predecessor to Microsoft Office 2016. It includes extended file format support, user interface updates and support for touch among its new features. Office 2013 is suitable for IA-32 and x64 systems and requires Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 or a later version of either. A version of Office 2013 comes included on Windows RT devices. Mainstream support ends on April 10, 2018. Extended support ends on April 11, 2023.

Development on this version of Microsoft Office was started in 2010 and ended on October 11, 2012, when Microsoft Office 2013 was released to manufacturing. Microsoft released Office 2013 to general availability on January 29, 2013. This version includes new features such as integration support for online services (including OneDrive, Outlook.com, Skype, Yammer and Flickr), improved format support for Office Open XML (OOXML), OpenDocument (ODF) and Portable Document Format (PDF) and support for multi-touch interfaces.

Times New Roman

Times New Roman is a serif typeface commissioned by the British newspaper The Times in 1931 and created by Victor Lardent in collaboration with the British branch of the printing equipment company Monotype. Although no longer used by The Times, Times New Roman is still very common in book and general printing. Through distribution with Microsoft products and as a standard computer font, it has become one of the most widely used typefaces in history.

Times New Roman's creation took place through the influence of Stanley Morison of Monotype. Morison was an artistic director at Monotype, historian of printing and informal adviser to the Times, who recommended that they change typeface from the spindly and somewhat dated nineteenth-century Didone typeface previously used to a more robust, solid design, returning to traditions of printing from the eighteenth century and before. This matched a common trend in printing of the period.

Morison proposed an older Monotype typeface named Plantin as a basis for the design, but revisions were made to increase legibility and economy of space. The new font was drawn by Victor Lardent, an artist from the advertising department of The Times, with Morison consulting, before refinement by the experienced Monotype drawing office team.The new design made its debut in the 3 October 1932 issue of The Times. After one year, the design was released for commercial sale. The Times stayed with Times New Roman for 40 years, but new production techniques and the format change from broadsheet to tabloid in 2004 have caused the newspaper to switch typeface five times since 1972. However, all the new fonts have been variants of the original New Roman typeface.

4 Times

"4 Times" (stylized as "4 TIMES") is the 50th single by pop/R&B singer Koda Kumi. It was released on August 17, 2011. The single charted at #6 and stayed on the charts for nine consecutive weeks. In commemoration of it being the fiftieth single since her debut, the single contained four a-sides, making it her first since 4 hot wave (2006).

The single came in four editions: CD, CD+DVD, CD+OLIX Digital Camera and CD+50 Postcards BOX Set. The latter two only carried the song Poppin' love cocktail feat. TEEDA.

Background Information

A short audio teaser of KO-SO-KO-SO was leaked online on June 28, 2011 and the full song premiered on July 10. The "making of" videos were uploaded to AVEX's YouTube as previews to the single. The music video for V.I.P was released August 1 and the rest of the PVs were released the 13th August. V.I.P. contains a short sample of American group Fort Minor's song Believe Me.

Poppin' love cocktail featured BACK-ON's TEEDA and was certified gold for 100,000 downloads in January 2014.

2 Times

"2 Times" is a song co-written and recorded by British singer Ann Lee. It was released in April 1999 as the lead single from her debut album, Dreams.

Background and composition

Ann Lee's previous work on a large number of eurodance projects would help her receive a contract with Alfredo Larry Pignagnoli, with whom she had already worked with on the Whigfield project, amongst others. He worked on a track with Marco Soncini called "Two Times". The song is played in a F Major key in common time at a BPM of 132, and throughout follows chord progression F-C7.

Commercial performance

The song achieved success in many European countries where it was a top ten hit, particularly in Belgium (Flanders region) and Denmark, where it reached number one. It peaked at number 2 in Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. It has sold over 500,000 copies in the UK as of 2014.

Music video

The song's colourful music video was released in 1999 by Energy Productions. Ann Lee has noted that the structure and cinematography of the video was very similar to that of Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer; "The two videos were similar! I remember perfectly the 'sledge video' (love Peter Gabriel!) and my movements are in fact very similar - but I think the similarity ends there".
